How to add an SSD to a Dell Optiplex 3020 SFF without removing the HDD or CD Drive

This method works on all Optiplex SFF PCs even the 3020, 3010, 390 and 3040 which also only have 2 SATA ports. Usually most guides show that you need an optical drive bay to 2.5" drive adapter which gets rid of you CD drive in order to add an SSD or get rid of the hard drive for an SSD. But you don't have to do that! You can add an SSD for a boot drive while still keeping your hard drive for data AND keeping your optical drive, which is perfect for an HTPC use case.
