ERG - 2026 Priorities for State Government action

The ERG represents the local government areas of Knox, Manningham, Maroondah, Whitehorse and Yarra Ranges — collectively home to approximately 800,000 Victorians (projected to exceed one million in coming years), with 300,000+ jobs and $49.5 billion in Gross Regional Product.

The ERG 2026 State Advocacy Platform identifies six priority areas for State Government action:

- Financially Sustainable Councils
- Transparent and Trusted Decision Making for Liveable Neighbourhoods
- Safer Communities
- Build Climate Resilience
- Transform Movement in the East
- Growing Our Local Economy
