This 7 Day Solo Wilderness Canoe Trip is the hardest and most challenging solo trip I've ever done in my life. I would begin at Gamble Lake access, being dropped off by a friend, who would then take my car to my expected take out at Sandy Inlet. From the drop off at Gamble, I would travel south into the Lady Evelyn River and then Southeast towards an area full of incredible Temagami waterfalls, rough terrain and some of the hardest portages around. I was able to spend the night at Cabin Falls, where I visited with Hap and Andrea Wilson at their famous Cabin Falls Ecolodge, take on crazy challenges and conquer extremely difficult portages like Bridal Veil Falls and Fat Man's Falls, all while observing the stunning beauty of this rugged, but scenic area. Although the rainy days, cold nights and windy afternoons attempted to keep me from achieving my goal, somehow, step by step, I made it through and was able to make it to my final destination with lots of time to spare. I can easily say, hands down, this is my greatest adventure to date, and I have worked exceptionally hard to provide as much quality footage of the area, and my adventures traveling through it, as I was able to.
