Force Motors Limited, is an Indian multinational automotive manufacturer, the flagship company of the Dr. Abhay Firodia Group. From 1958 until 2005 the company was known as Bajaj Tempo Motors because it originated as a joint venture between Bachraj Trading Ltd. and Germany's Tempo. The company is known for brands like Tempo, Matador, Minidor, and Traveller. Over the last five decades, it has partnered with global manufacturers including Daimler, ZF, Bosch, and MAN.

Force Motors is India’s largest van maker. The company is completely vertically integrated, making its own components for the entire product range.

Force Motors ranks 327th (2016) amongst India's Fortune India 500 companies list.

Not many of you may know, but engines of BMW cars and SUVs are being made in India since 2015 at Force Motors. The engines range from 3-cylinder to 6-cylinder blocks. The BMW engines produced are:

5 series: 4 and 6-cylinder
7 series: 6-cylinder
X1 range: 4-cylinder
X3 range: 4 and 6-cylinder
X5 range: 6-cylinder
X7 range: 4-cylinder

And this connection dates back to the year 1997. Engines and axles of Mercedes Benz cars and SUVs have been made in India this long. The number of engines and axles supplied till date is 1,15,000 and 1,01,500 respectively. The Mercedes engines made are:
