San Diego: Hwy 94 Vehicle Fire 09042019

The owner of the vehicle was with his two young sons and was on Kelton Rd. when smoke was coming out of the engine compartment. He continued onto the On-ramp when smoke started to come from the vents and into the passenger compartment. He stopped and saw fire coming from the engine, and he got his two sons out of the vehicle and ran. The vehicle was destroyed by the fire. SDFD arrived and put out the fire.
The CHP blocked off the On-ramp.
