Chicken Shop in China EXPLODES

This dash cam footage shows the moment a building exploded in Sanhe, just outside of Beijing.

The explosion, which originated from a fried chicken restaurant, killed at least two people and injured more than 26 others.

Local authorities say the explosion was caused by a suspected gas leak in the four storey building. Local residents posting on social media said they heard a loud bang and felt their buildings shake.

More than 150 firefighters tackled the flames and carried out rescue and relief operations.

Police cordoned off streets a kilometre away from the explosion and directed people away from the scene.

Rescue efforts for people still trapped under the rubble are ongoing, with 28 people having already been rescued.
