I cooked a meal kit of chicken teriyaki rice bowls for my friend who just had her baby. We had very similar pregnancy journeys of waiting and loss, and were finally miraculously pregnant at the same time! I know how hard it can be to even think about what to eat, or what to feed your family when you have a newborn, so I wanted to drop off a healthy and hearty meal that she could reheat, assemble easily, and eat later at her leisure.
