Set during the 2016 campaign season, "Agawan Base" follows documentary director Richelle (Jolina Magdangal) whose agnosticism is tested when she encounters a child who has a steadfast belief in God despite living in poverty.
While filming a documentary, Richelle and the subject of her film, Mano, are caught in the crossfire of two running politicians who both want to use the young boy's tragic life to win the election.
