Speedboat race at North Somercotes in the 1970s. Vintage footage of lake racing with a collision resulting in a boat sinking.
The film features boats racing at high speed and some classic waterskiing and monoskiing. I am not sure what model or class of boats these are ( Albatross ?) but its nice to see them in action together with some vintage outboards including Mercurys and Evinrude.
