What was this Strange #abandoned tunnel for?
Is this an Abandoned Railway Tunnel? a Bunker or some abandoned industrial building?
Welcome to the remains of Craven Lime works in Langcliffe. The lozenge shaped building is the Hoffman kiln built in 1873. Designed in Germany and built under licence here in Langcliffe, it was a continuous burn kiln with 22 chambers.
