Testing the USA Gear handlebar mount on a hiking pole.
As the Spring weather has been great these last few days I decided to cycle out to RSPB Fen Drayton Lakes and film some underwater video using my old Go Pro Hero 3+ camera. This time I wanted to extend my reach by mounting the camera on an adjustable walking/hiking pole using my USA Gear bike handlebar mounting system. I've owned this for a number of years now and have previously made a product review video on it. Still pleased with it and the ball & socket adjuster is still doing its job. Tough bit of kit.
The lake is Ferry lagoon and can be accessed via Swavesey or the request stop on the Cambridgeshire Guided Busway at RSPB Fen Drayton Lakes.
I filmed at the two main pond-dipping stages. The best one for aquatic wildlife is opposite the RSPB carpark.
