Classic estate cars, station wagons & woodies - estates of the 1920s-1980s in photos

150 photos of classic estate cars, station wagons, shooting brakes & woodies make up this old-car video, featuring pre-war types of the 1920s and 1930s, through the post-war 1940s and 1950s, and into the 1960s, 70s and 80s.
A variety of estates are shown, with all but one photographed at classic car shows over the last few years. Several of the more commonly-encountered makes and models are featured - these include example(s) of Morris Minor Traveller, Austin & Morris Mini estate, Vauxhall Victor, Ford Escort & Cortina, VW Variant, Triumph 2000/2500, Mercedes Benz W123 series and more.
Mixed in with the above estates and station wagons are some real rarities and one-offs, including the 1958 Road Rover prototype, Standard 10 Companion, Bond Equipe estate, Toyota Crown, Talbot Matra Rancho, Vauxhall Velox PA (converted by Friary), the unique Jaguar XJ40-based estate car on show at JDHT Gaydon, Peugeot 203 & 403 break, plus conversions of vans into family estate cars, a once-common conversion here in the UK (eg Austin A35 and A40).
A number of coachbuilt woodies are included here too (not just Minors), as is perhaps the most eye-catching of all classic estates/wagons, the magnificent Allard P2 Safari, on display at the British Motor Museum, Gaydon.

Estate cars are often much rarer than their saloon equivalents, so turn up less often at classic car shows, road runs etc etc, I've tried to include a mixture of common and rare types here, but inevitable some will have been missed.
