WHY I QUIT MY JOB AT M.A.C | My Story

PLEASE READ!! Guys, I am in no way shape or form saying that animal testing is okay, and I am in no way condoning animal testing. All I am saying is that MAC as a company does not test on animals. At all. You can read more about it here: https://www.maccosmetics.com/animaltesting The testing that does happen is not within their control as it is a separate government agency doing the testing. MAC has donated millions of dollars to the IIVS, to spread awareness to the alternative methods available so that China will stop testing on animals. And that is all they can do. Despite my unpleasant experience working there, I do think that MAC is still a good brand and still does a lot to give back to the community through the MAC Aids Fund, Back to Mac, Kids helping Kids and Viva Glam programs.

I forgot to mention that my job as a B.O.C. meant that I was working EXCLUSIVELY at the M.A.C. Counter and EXCLUSIVELY selling M.A.C. products, I didn't work anywhere else in the department, I just wasn't considered to be a "M.A.C. Employee" And inevitably once I became officially because a M.A.C. artist there were other issues also....
This is was just my experience working at MAC cosmetics, and why I quit. From a branding perspective I admire them and still love them as a company. These are just some thins that I would like to see changed! Let me know what your experiences have been with the company.
