Thief Makes Fatal Mistake Stealing This Truck (@LawAndCrime)

On October 10th, 2022, A police officer in Hillsborough County, Florida was waved down by a father who had been claiming his truck was just stolen, with his kids trapped inside. He kept his composure and gave the officer a description of the vehicle, allowing him to find it just minutes later. The officer pulled over the truck and immediately spotted his missing children screaming through the window, claiming that was NOT their dad. With no room for error, the officer pulled 37-year-old Kevin Smith out of the vehicle, and arrested him for grand theft auto as well as two counts of kidnapping
