Century of strife : evolution of the mexican soldier in the 19th century

A quick evolution of the mexican soldier in the 19th century. A very tumultuous century for Mexico, filled with revolutions, foreign invasions, incursions into foreign countries, dynasty and regime changes, etc. (just another day in latin america really). But the uniforms are very cool, they look distinctly more european than the american ones for example. Definitely got a lot of spanish inspiration going on.

Images were made with Google Nano Banana Pro after an in depth researched prompt on my side first. I tried to get all the weapon/uniform details as accurately portrayed as possible but there are always some creative liberties wherever things are less clear cut. Let me know if you find any glaring mistakes.
