SSD vs HDD - Which one should you buy? This unfiltered tech review is on the difference between a Solid-state drive (SSD) and a Hard-disk drive (HDD). I threw in a bunch of comparisons but, you have to ultimately decide which one works best for you based on the pros and the cons I laid out in this review. There are a lot of great companies out there like Western Digital, PNY, Sandisk, Seagate, Samsung, Toshiba, and more, but I really think you should buy based on need.
