Wondering what questions you might be asked in an interview for a job as a social media manager or social media executive? My top question: data! Know your data, do data research on the company, use free tools to access enough information to show you know your way around their data. For this example we use the fashion brand Zara and their social channels.
Before the interview look at:
How many Admins do they have on FB & IG and what countries are those Admins in?
The interviewing companies top post that week (FB),
and their engagement for the last 7 days,
Please look at the Organisations ads for the last 90 days, on both Facebook and Instagram,
Then move across to Twitter, YouTube etc and use free 3rd party tools to measure their twitter, youtube and other channels.

Mentioning the data (number of admins, amount of ads, number of posts, engagement on different platforms) shows you know your stuff!
