Double-Breasted Cape with Arm Slits | How to Draft a Slit-Sleeve Cape Pattern

In this lesson, we’re drafting a Slit-Sleeve Cape pattern from scratch.
A cape is different from a poncho—while a poncho is pullover style with no opening, a cape has a front opening.
The design we’re making today has double-breasted closure at the center front and arm slits for easy movement.
You don’t need full body measurements for this project—just your shoulder width, chest circumference, and cape length.
