Forza Horizon 5 - Toyota MR2 SW20's Performance is a Disappointment (A-Class)

The Toyota MR2 SW20 returns in Forza Horizon 5 from the Series 17 update. And unfortunately they have butchered the car in terms of performance. We went from the new Z being one of the nicest and competitive car to one of the most disappointing car in A-Class. The car is also very buggy with clipping issues too.

1995 Toyota MR2 SW20 A-Class performance review:
The SW20 is more suited to B-Class considering its A-Class performance is pretty weak. The main issue is the typical rally tires build, the car doesn't have the grip and it understeers a lot which is pretty shocking as it is the complete polar opposite of what a MR2 should be.

Slick tires seems to be the only way to make a purist A-Class build work while still being nice to drive. So for a purist build to work, it is either rally tires with lots of acceleration & speed but horrible to drive or low acceleration but nice to drive. I went with the latter for my build. Thanks to low drag, the car still has decent top speed.

But the biggest issue with the SW20 currently is that currently it is a very buggy car. You will get massive wall-ride penalty if you touch the wall and the car has very bad clipping issues on kerbs that can put your car to an instant stop + wall-ride penalty on top of that.

The AW11 MR2 is a better A-Class car than this if you want the MR2 experience.
