In this step-by-step tutorial I'll show you how to build Slack AI Agents with Make.com, using a Q&A agent that answers company questions from a knowledge base of docs as the example. With this solution you can give your team an AI agent they can chat with right inside Slack, so they get answers without ever leaving the app. The same setup works for any Slack AI agent you want to build.

Along the way, you'll see how to connect the agent to a Slack channel, show a typing indicator while it thinks, stop it from getting stuck in an infinite loop of triggering itself, and give it memory so it can follow a conversation.
