Please see the full video for armor stats as well as the location. This armor is way better than anything else this early game and is also way better than the first faction armor you get. These guys hit very hard, especially the bandit leader (axe guy) who you need to kill for the Heavy Key. You're going to need some good weapons and some tactics to drop him fast enough before the 2 man patrol comes back around.

I used summon Pack and Insects for distraction, and the Battlebow with Silver arrows to drop the leader. You may need a little luck when running to grab the armor because sometimes you'll get boxed in and can't escape.

This area is located very close to the Remnant camp to the Northwest. Just leave the Remnant base, go left, and then hug the cliff and go north for a short bit.
