Fix Poor Headlights on Mini - Using Philips X-treme Ultinon Gen 2 LED's

The lights on our 2010 MINI Clubman R55 Cooper are absolutely useless - dangerously so even with the best Halogens fitted. So, I had to do something, so against my usual advice I have fitted Philips X-treme Ultinon Gen 2 units. And, what a difference, an almost undriveable car at night has been transformed.

This video goes through the fitting of the H4 units into our Mini Clubman 2010 - and shows the performance with a drive test. It also shows a foolproof method of beam-aiming to get the best performance.

However, they are not perfect and cause flashing at start-up and 'bulb-out' failures - which could not be cancelled with 'CanBUS Error Cancelling' device - I discuss where the problem comes from and how it could be rectified.

Thanks to the comments below, I have now realised I should have just coded out the light check with Carly - especially as I had been using Carly on another car the same day!
