Story Information -

यह कहानी Granite City नाम के एक fictional शहर में set है, जहाँ crime और corruption काफी बढ़ चुकी है।

कहानी शुरू होती है एक 13-year-old लड़के Sam से, जिसे लगता है कि उसका पड़ोसी Joe Smith असल में Samaritan है, एक legendary superhero जो 25 साल पहले गायब हो गया था। Samaritan और उसके भाई Nemesis के बीच एक intense rivalry थी, जिसने शहर को तबाह कर दिया था। लोग believe करते हैं कि Samaritan उस incident में मर गया, लेकिन Sam को लगता है कि वह अभी भी जिंदा है।

Joe एक साधारण garbage collector की तरह दिखता है, लेकिन उसकी unusual strength और mysterious nature उसे अलग बनाती है। Sam धीरे-धीरे Joe को convince करता है कि वह अपने superhero identity को फिर से अपनाए और शहर को Cyrus एक dangerous gangster से बचाए।

Joe का struggle, अपने past को भूलने और एक normal life जीने की कोशिश करना, फिल्म को और भी gripping बनाता है। आखिर में Joe और Cyrus के बीच एक epic showdown होता है, जहाँ Joe की true identity reveal होती है।
