As of a couple of days ago when I filmed this I am 3 weeks into studying Tagalog and having lots of fun with it. And I plan to put it to good use when I`m in the Philippines next week. :)

It`s a mind-bending language with sentence structure and grammar that is very different from English or other Indo-European languages, and different from Semitic languages I`ve studied as well. It`s also grammatically very different from Indonesian/Malay which is in the same Austronesian language family.
