Authentic borscht and Ukrainian garlic rolls | Борщ и пампушки

After years of trying borscht from everyone and their grandma (especially their grandmas,) I feel like I have created the perfect borscht recipe. This video will not only teach you how to make borscht, but adapt the recipe to fit your specific taste. As a bonus, I will show you how to make Ukrainian garlic rolls, which are the perfect accompaniment to this divine Slavic soup.
Ingredient list

Stock ingredient

Bones - Pork ribs, beef ribs, oxtail, etc.
Two large onions
One large carrot plus scraps
Parsnip
Celery root/stalks
Dried mushrooms
Whole peppercorns
A bulb of garlic
Herb stems for bouquet garni
One small dried chili pepper
One small nub of ginger
Bay leaves
Whatever veggies are lying around in your fridge

One small cabbage (green or white)
One can of crushed tomatoes
400 grams/1 pound of dried kidney beans
Two potatoes
Parsley and dill

Two crushed cloves of garlic (optional)
Garlic rolls

500 grams of flour
300 grams of water
5 grams of dry yeast
Drizzle of honey
1 large egg
salt
