UK Graduate from Chad Hopes to Eradicate Malaria
Esias Bedingar arrived at the University of Kentucky from his native country of Chad not knowing ANY English.
In a matter of months, he learned the language and started his career at UK. Esias, a public health major who is part of the Lewis Honors College, began undergraduate research in hopes of accomplishing a pretty lofty goal.
He's determined to eradicate malaria.
Watch why this Harvard-bound, soon-to-be UK grad is proud to also share UK as his alma mater...with his dad.
The best way to see yourself as a Wildcat is to visit. Register for a tour at http://www.uky.edu/admission/visitor-center.
