Not Another Chevron Cutting Board

We just don't know what to call it. All we could think of is that this is definitely not another chevron cutting board, so...that's what we named it. Nick fashioned this unique charcuterie board design from strips of contrasting wood (maple and purple heart) carefully arranged to create the optical illusion of peering into a long tunnel…sorta. There are other effects too, and it’s hard to decide which one to focus on…if you can focus at all. Have fun trying! This would make a good project for a beginner or advanced woodworker, and if you’d like to make this charcuterie board, the step-by-step instructions and drawings -- including the plans for the assembly table and miter sled used in this project -- are available from https://workshopcompanionstore.com/products/not-another-chevron-cutting-board-plan
