In today's video, we are going to see the case of an ICD implantation that saved the life of 59-year-old cardiac arrest patient, Mrs. Baljinder Kaur from Geeta Colony, New Delhi. Under the guidance of Dr. Sanjeev Gera (Director & HoD - Cardiology, Fortis Hospital, Noida), she was administered medicines until she was stable. Afterwards, she received an ICD implantation (a pacemaker) to help with the functioning of her heart. She was able to recover soon, and resume normal, everyday activity.
