The brand offers certified wearables rooted in cultural heritage while appealing to today’s wellness- and style-oriented consumers. On Shark Tank India Season 5, the founder asked for ₹1.5 crore for 1 % equity, placing its valuation around ₹150 crore. Sharks Namita Thapar and Varun Alagh made a counter-offer of ₹1.5 crore for 1 % equity with a 1 % royalty until the investment is recouped, and the deal was accepted by Ritoban, marking Japam’s successful funding moment on the show.
