Tram up the Mountain & Hiking in Juneau Alaska - NCL Bliss Alaskan Cruise Vlog

There is a light rain in Juneau, Alaska but we don’t care! We are loving the absolute beauty of Alaska and the rain and chill just make it feel more real to us. Our plan is to ‘freestyle’ in Juneau and there are a few things that are top our list. First up is the Mount Roberts Tram to the top of the mountain. We were able to get our unlimited pass tram tickets onboard the NCL Bliss through the shore excursions desk so that saved us time in line once in port. We make this our first stop and take the beautiful ride up. It is amazing to see the ships that look so large when on land get so small as you reach the top of the mountain. After a bit of shopping in the really great gift shop, we hit the hiking trails. I was a bit apprehensive as it was raining and wasn’t sure how the trail would be in these conditions, but I am so glad we did as it ended up being one of the highlights of the entire cruise! The views were breathtaking and there was a lot to see along the trail. And it was great for our family to hike together as we had when they were younger in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. We end this adventure with a visit to the Nature Center and then the ride back down the mountain. Up next… The Red Dog Saloon…
