Explosion in Qatar’s Ras Laffan gas facility kills 12 Indians, EAM Jaishankar expresses grief

EAM S Jaishankar on June 23 expressed grief over the loss of lives in the Ras Laffan explosion incident in Qatar. “Deeply saddened by the loss of lives, including of Indian nationals, in the explosion at Qatar’s Ras Laffan Industrial City” he said. EAM also noted that Indian Embassy continues to be in touch with Qatari authorities to help Indian nationals affected by this tragedy. The Embassy of India in Doha on Monday said that 12 Indian nationals have passed away in the Ras Laffan incident in Qatar last night. QatarEnergy CEO Saad al-Kaabi said on June 22 that 13 people had died and 66 were injured after the explosion
