San Cristobal is Not What I Expected

When I'm travelling the picture I create in my mind, is never the reality.

There's a first impression of a place, and then the picture changes to match your internal map. Your relationship to that place, the streets, fauna, people, changes.

I pictured my travels to San Cristobal De Las Casas in Chiapas, Mexico, as a backwater tourist trap with some nice scenery. Now I'm finding a lively art scene, coffee culture, and hilarious locals to interact with.
