Why do you sew by hand if you have sewing machines? It is well known that with their help, sewing is faster and more accurate. Yes, of course! Certainly! But what about electricity? I think the less we use electrical appliances, the better for nature and the environment. Am I wrong?

I also see a great opportunity in hand sewing for creating unique, special things. Such things seem alive to me because of different stitch lengths or deviations from straight lines.

Each hand-sewn item has its own character. Just think about there are only several such items in the whole world! And they become only yours in one minute! So I like this idea too.

That's why I don't use sewing machines. But look at these neat and elegant placemats. I've sewn them by hands. Are they not charming?
