CityStream: Somali Yoga

The Seattle area's Somali population now numbers 30,000. Many are female refugees who escaped Somalia to seek safety and a more stable life. Many of these women are isolated and alone. They don't speak English, and they lack essential services. Daryel Somali Women's Wellness Project, a program run by UW Medicine, is providing them a chance to make new connections and feel supported. Nicole Sanchez explains.
