PT 2: BREAKING BAD

(Maze) I usually say whatever is on my mind with no reserve. The times I try to restrain myself from saying things, I feel like I'm burning inside. Like there's a fire in my mind of me that needs to be put out by exiting those thoughts into words out of my mouth!

This is good in someways but bad when those thoughts or words are hurtful to others. Trying to break this bad habit is tough for me. Really tough. I get anxiety when I keep things to myself and frankly I like to be transparent about my feelings.

I think the real problem lies in why I even feel heated in the first place? I don't know as of yet, but the one thing that helps me to stay focused in breaking my bad is by remembering what Jesus did for me. Sometimes I just need to give up my own feelings and thoughts in order to support and serve others, especially my other half. Note to self: I need to read my bible daily to remember this.

2 Corinthians 5:9-15

"So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
Since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord, we try to persuade others. What we are is plain to God, and I hope it is also plain to your conscience. We are not trying to commend ourselves to you again, but are giving you an opportunity to take pride in us, so that you can answer those who take pride in what is seen rather than in what is in the heart. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again."
