Here is another story in the series of our kids nursery stories. The Eid Mubarak story is a festive story for kids. Did you know that the month before the festival of Eid is called Ramadan? During the month of Ramadan, Muslims fast all through the day and eat only at sundown and before sunrise.

Eid is celebrated to appreciate whatever little you have and share it with who don't. The festival is celebrated by sharing a lot of sweets, namely, Lokum, Seviyan, Mamoul and Klaicha.

Just as Appu and his friends are ready to indulge in the sweet delicacies, a few starving vultures swoop in but are blocked by Appu's powers. Appu learns that the vultures haven't eaten in a long time. Appu and his friends decide to share their food with the vultures to practice the spirit of the festival.

Appu and Neena also teach Maya, Neena's cousin, about Eid. Appu asks Maya to kneel down and shows Maya how Eid is celebrated. They teach her the value of sharing as they gift a needy woman. Neena and Tiger wish Appu, Eid Mubarak.
