During pregnancy, is it normal to cramp after intercourse?
You wanted to know if it's normal to experience a little cramping after intercourse during pregnancy. And if a woman experiences an orgasm, it can actually cause the uterus to contract, and so you may feel a little bit of mild cramping during or for a little bit after. So if you do experience that, just watch it. And if it stops and it's very short-lived, then it's okay - just continue to monitor, and take it easy, rest, drink some water. But if it persists and/or gets worse, then you need to call your doctor and let them know about it. Generally speaking, intercourse is not contraindicated during pregnancy, so you can continue to have intercourse unless your doctor has told you otherwise. But do let them know if you're experiencing more than just little bit of mild cramping that is short-lived after intercourse or if it's happening every time.
