Solomon Airlines Pilot and First Officer Salome Agiomea introduces H4-SIC, our newest Twin Otter
Solomon Airlines Pilot, First Officer Salome Agiomea introduces H4-SIC, our latest aircraft to join our Solomon Islands domestic fleet.
Our newest Twin Otter first landed at Honiara International Airport on 11 February 2021, and 3 months later, following registration and pilot and crew training, the aircraft has now commenced commercial flight operations on our domestic network. The first commercial passenger flight, IE386, operated from Honiara to Arona and Kirakira on 20 May 2021.
Delivered by US Aircraft company and Twin Otter specialists IKHANA Aircraft Services, the completely ‘relifed’ aircraft includes an additional 1,500lb (680kgs) take-off and landing weight capability, new interior and seating, and airline-grade digital avionics system.
We hope to see you in our friendly skies soon.
Production: Dreamcast Theatre, Solomon Islands
