Trying out a new Fly Rod - Tenkara Rod - Testing it out at Lees Ferry in Arizona

Christmas Eve adventures-well I ran down to Flag -ran errands then headed up to Lees Ferry to try out a new fly fishing rod-Tenkara rod. Definitely need to practice my knots and need waders but still enjoyed the afternoon-no fish caught but they were there. yeah and have to see what they eat in the winter -too! If anyone has any recommendations let me know in comments. Travel nurse day off!
