Throughout my pregnancy I read the book "Supernatural Childbirth" by Jackie Mize and listened to the app "Christian Hypnobirthing". Both were life changing for me and God used them to break off all fear I had of childbirth and death. I listened to them almost daily and became so confident in my ability to give birth supernaturally and knew God had a special encounter planned for us.

I also took the birth course "Pain Free Birth" one week before I gave birth and what I learned helped me tremendously during the intense phases of labor!

Also, it's worth mentioning that we only switched to a midwife and home birth when I was 35 weeks pregnant. I was disappointed with the neglect from my OBGYN and the lack of care I received there. God began to put it on our hearts to have a home birth, and through prayer and fasting, He confirmed it to us.
