CELTIC FIRE - THE COMING OF THE MILESIANS (BELFAST CHILD / THE STORM)

Celtic Fire is the breathtaking new musical show which combines the ethereal voice of Angela Little (singer and composer from Baz Luhrmann's film "Australia") with the energy and excitement of Irish dancing, primal tribal rhythms, sweeping cinematic sounds, and stunning visual projections.
AFI award-nominated composer Angela has drawn on a wealth of tribal roots from many ancient cultures including Japanese Taiko drumming and middle Eastern rhythms and sounds to create a never-before-seen cross-cultural multimedia experience.
The Coming of the Milesians is inspired by the lead-up to the epic mythical battle between the ancient inhabitants of Ireland, the Tuatha de Dannan (Tribe of the Goddess Danu), and the invading Milesians, who sailed across the ocean intent on conquering the land. The Tuatha de Dannan conjured a great storm to keep their enemies at sea. Angela channels the Goddess Brighid of the Sacred Flame, calling the warriors and stirring the storm from deep in the ocean to protect the tribe from destruction.
