Flowers and Foliage Episode 1: How to paint smooth sided leaves

Flowers and foliage are my favourite things to paint. It's a great idea to begin with leaves as they come in all shapes, sizes and colours; perfect preparation for all the shapes of the natural world.

We look at how watercolour can dry in patches, unevenly, and how you can try and rectify this, but ultimately how to surrender to watercolour's will.
