Lockhart Fish & Chips, Liverpool. Eddies Secret Fish Toast Revealed 🤐

_Legendary chip shop owner Eddie Lockhart, now retired, of Lockhart’s Chippy in Liverpool, shared with me his secret fish toast. This special dish was never on the menu; only a lucky few have ever tasted it. Not only did he reveal this hidden gem, but he also generously gave one to Sue and me free of charge!

What a star. As this was the only free food we'd had up to that point, and was simply a nice gesture on his and his chippy's final day, as my review wasn't going to make any difference to a chippy permenantly closed and I had already paid for the food we had eaten before that.

Eddie will be sorely missed at the chippy after an incredible career that began when he was just 7 years old and spanned an astonishing 66 years._
