Perfect prep is the key to a long lasting manicure and healthy nails! Just like our skin, nails naturally “shed” dead skin. As the nail grows, dead skin will grow out with it. This should be 1. Removed carefully or “exfoliated” away and 2. Hydrated/moisturised to help prevent a build up! Sometimes you can’t see the cuticle (dead skin found on the surface of the nail plate), but once you start to remove the build up, you’ll see it! This MUST be removed to ensure a long lasting mani/pedi. 💅🏼
