Overnight, 'Duck Dynasty' stars Jase and Missy Robertson became guardians to a newborn baby boy.

During Jase's podcast Unashamed that he hosts with her father Phil, the couple recounted how this moment came to be.

Missy has been promoting her new children's book, 'Because You're My family', and was doing a podcast interview when she got a call. Once picking up the phone she would learn that a women she had done ministry with had given birth while in prison. Now this newborn needed care and the women had entrusted her child to the couple. Completely shocked, it took both Jase and Missy awhile to wrap their heads around the situation.

Ultimately they were honored. they were honored that out of anyone she could have sign off to take care of her child, she chose them. Now what does the future look like for them and the child? They still don't know, but as of now just looking to take care of the baby until the next steps.
