Here’s Why You Should Seek Discomfort

There’s real value in doing things you don’t want to do.

It’s why I’ve trained for a marathon and a triathlon, and why I stay consistent with my workouts. None of it came easy. And that’s the point.

What I’ve learned is that pushing yourself outside of work helps you show up stronger inside of it.

You build mental resilience, and it carries over into how you handle stress, problem-solving, and leadership. I’ve felt a huge difference in my ability to stay level-headed through challenges, just by consistently leaning into discomfort.

Growth rarely happens when things are easy.
