The original TV show “The Mickey Mouse Club” aired between 1955-1959. However, you are no stranger to the Mickey Mouse hat worn by host Jimmie Dodd and all of the Musketeers. The design was inspired by a 1929 short The Karnival Kid and created by Roy Williams, better known as the Big Mouseketeer. Since then, they have become Disney’s most popular apparel. An estimated 2.5 million Mouse Ears are sold annually at Walt Disney World. You can purchase yours, or a Minnie Mouse set with a polka-dot bow, at The Chapeau on Main Street U.S.A. The will also embroider it with your name.
