Dalyan - The Antique Mosque of Eski Köyceğiz

Dalyan is a great base to go and explore from. In the late eighteen-hundreds a huge flood swallowed up half the village of Köyceğiz. The people packed their bags and started all over 5 kilometers further where we still find Köyceğiz today. Eski Köyceğiz, as it became, still has some great features and sauntering around there gives you a good feel of how great this place must have been. And all that a few kilometers from Dalyan.
