MSI X58A-GD45 with Xeon X5675 Overclocking Tutorial
This video is explaining how to overclock Xeon X5675 on the MSI X58 motherboard. First half of the video is dedicated to the BIOS settings and the second part is where you will find Cinabench R15 and UserBenchmark runs to compare the performance.
System specs:
Xeon X5675 6 Cores 12 Threads 3.06GHz 95W TDP @ 4.46GHz
24GB Triple Channel DDR3-1600 RAM
GTX 1060 6GB
240GB SSD as a Boot Drive
System stability was tested with Prime95 and works fine. Please note that my settings might not work for your particular CPU because of the "silicon lottery" (not all silicon chips are made the same). On the other side, you might be able to run BCLK 180 or more if you get a nice sample. Make sure you run safe voltage on the CPU - too much voltage can destroy the chip pretty fast.
