FEEDING GIRAFFES FROM MY BEDROOM !!!

Giraffe Manor is a small hotel in the suburb of Nairobi Kenya founded back in 1932.

The initial intention of this place began from an effort to save the only remaining Rothschild Giraffes from being slaughtered.

It all started with a rescue named ‘Daisy’. The first giraffe to call this place home.

Today, it operates as a breeding program. Introducing new life back into the wild while serving as a home to secure the future of these beautiful animals.

Guests are able to feed the Giraffes while they wander freely around the 12 acre compound.

Our boy Tim Sykes booked 2 rooms a year in advance so were very lucky to be here.
